Hi Louise Paul and all - wow what a great few days we had at Ndutu. Before we left Canada I went back and read every single newsletter on your web site so I was so excited to finally arrive - what a very special place, we were thrilled to see your resident genets- what a treat - we also were so lucky to come upon a python on a late afternoon drive - he was in the creek and then came out to hunt, our guide said he was just a small one only about 10 feet long.

We also saw a lioness and her 3 cubs on our way out along with 3 striped hyenas which I understand are quite rare - I can't stop thinking of our trip to Tanzania and Kenya - no wonder everyone falls in love with East Africa - We hope to return one day - Visiting Ndutu was one of the highlights - have a great summer, say hi to the Genet family.
